FAQ

Answer: The Mobile Mister will fit on any standard golf cart unless you have a custom cart that is a different length or width. If you have a six seater or extra long cart just send us a pic and the dimensions and we will make a custom misting line for your cart at no additional cost. info@mobilemister.com
Answer: The tank is Pre-Pressurized and no batteries or pumping are ever necessary! If for any reason you lose pressure in the tank email us and we can troubleshoot the unit with you. I have used the same unit for over 20 years with no issues.
Answer: Like any misting system, the misting heads will eventually get clogged up. There are two options to rectify this issue:
  • OPTION 1) Simply unscrew the misting head and soak it in the cleaning solution we offer on the site for 30 minutes and that usually does the trick.
  • OPTION 2) Unscrew the misting head that is clogged and replace it with a new one. We sell packs of replacement misting heads on on our site.
Answer: Absolutely! The Blue shut off valve on top of the tank can be adjusted to the volume of water that suits your preference. Instead of turning it all the way on, simply turn it slowly until you get the flow you desire.
Answer: The short answer is so it doesn’t bounce out of the basket and hit the ground which could break off the shut-off valve on top of the tank or cause other damage. Depending on the size of the basket the tank may not fit all the way down to the bottom of the basket. Like everything else they are making things smaller and the majority of baskets don’t allow the tank to go all the way in. I drive like Mario Andretti and I bounce around a lot which makes attaching the tank even more important! LOL
Answer: Excellent question. It really depends on a lot of factors. The 4 gallon tank should last an entire round. That being said, if you leave it running continually it will last about 1-1/2 hours. I shut it off when I get out to stand on the tee box and also when I get out to putt. If you only run it when you are actually in the cart is should go an entire round. If you want to leave it on all the time then take the fill hose with you and you can stop at the turn and top it off at the cart barn. They always have a hose bib there they will let you use.
Answer: Great question! When it is hot and dry it evaporates fast and you hardly get any moisture on you at all. If the humidity is high you may get a little moisture but you can simply point the misting heads away from you and then you wont have that problem. I would rather be a little moist than be hot. If you have a little moisture on your skin and you take off driving you get cool REALLY fast!
Answer: I know exactly what you mean! There are two ways to stop this from happening:
  • (OPTION 1) Take your glasses off and stick them in your pocket. I also like to take my hat off and soak up all the mist I can. I point the mister right in my face and get right up next to it so my hair gets wet. When I put my hat back on my head it stays cooler for much longer. I like to get wet! LOL I actually have extensions (You can purchase on this site) where I have them blowing right in my face.
  • (OPTION 2) If you don’t want to take off your sunglasses simply turn down the flow when you are driving. Most golfers wear a hat so if you have your sunglasses on simply pull the bill of your hat down lower and tilt your head down a little so you’re not looking directly into the mister and the problem is solved.
